2023-12-23 May All Beings Be Happy? 1:24:59
Exploring what it means to wish for all beings to be happy. Looking at a couple of ways we compromise on the fullness of 'all', or limit our understanding of where happiness comes from and depends upon; Bringing head and heart together à la Thānissaro Bhikku, we can find a new drive to wish lasting blameless happiness for all beings, now, gone, and yet to come. 2023-10-28 Moment of Truths 1:13:52

2023-10-07 Don't Think That Thoughts Block Meditation 59:41
A guided meditation relating to sounds and thoughts equally, as happenings in sensitive knowing. Followed by a reflection of how we can exaggerate the necessity of a quiet mind in meditation. Suggesting here, too, freedom with might be better than freedom from. This session ends a bit abruptly as there was a call to enter a bomb shelter, but I felt there was enough here to upload. May all beings live in peace.

2023-09-10 Fundamental Attribution Delusion 1:30:44
At the core of the teachings, we have avidya: the fundamental point that we do not see things as they are. Our perception is not reality, it can be changed by how we look, where we look, and with what underlying principle concepts we look through. Let's bring in a few cognitive ideas into our Dharma approach. In particular, how 'fundamental attribution error(s)' are reinforced by 'naïve realism' to generate a self-world view that promotes impossible happiness claims. A recording of the meditation, Dharma reflections, and answers (only) to questions and reflections from participants (to preserve their privacy).
